Add a New Custom Card

A custom card displays on the multi-products home page and provides links to additional content -- content pages or other URLs. A card is similar to a file folder in that it groups related content. For example, a pet insurance card can include a link to a content page that educates about pet insurance, to a pet insurance calculator and to the sign-up for pet insurance.

When customizing or adding content to your site, you do so by clicking the Edit button and the site goes into edit mode.

When in edit mode with changes, the Preview | Save | Cancel buttons display.

Preview – allows you to view the page as it displays to the user when active.
Save – saves all changes made to the page. When you click Save, the page remains in edit mode and Done displays. Click Done to exit edit mode.
Cancel – closes edit mode without saving changes.

Adding a New Custom Card:

From the Home page, click Edit.

Click Add Content | New Custom Card. The new Card summary displays.

You can:

Enter the Title.
Change the image.
Add content including a content page from the library, a new content page or a link to the calculators.
Save the card. The Title is required to save.
Cancel returns the user to the Home page without creating the card.
Preview displays the card summary as it displays to users when active.

Enter the Title and click Save. A save prompt displays. You can save the page to the existing folder or create a new folder.

Click . The Create Folder Here prompt displays.
Enter the Folder Name. For example: Cards
Click Create Folder.

You return to the Save Content Here prompt with the Cards folder selected.

Enter the card name. For example: EAP_card

Click Save Here. The card is saved in the Content Library. You can now edit the card to make additional changes such as add an image or add content.
